S1 boot cable end -the little metal bit that holds the cable

Post by Corranga » Sat Feb 06, 2010 11:13 pm

I seem to have foolishly lost the little metal cylinder that the boot cable goes through/then a screw goes in to hold the cable in place. Where do I get one?!

It just a throttle cable nipple. If you have any decent motorbike shops near you they're bound to have one.

Or you could just use 1 segment of a wiring connector block with the plastic removed if your stuck

You know, I kept having the feeling i'd seen very similar to the missing bit recently. Must have been when wiring a plug. I might look at this / swap for live connector from 13A plug (with holder fuse removed!)

Cheers,
