Yep . . . hairdryer to heat up the glue and loosen it a bit, then perseverance with fishing line for several minutes in a sawing action underneath the badge. Will feel like it's not going to come off, but give it time and it will.

Re: Lotus front nose badge change ?
How much of a job is it to change the front badge on an S1 elise? Somebody has tried nicking it and it is now scratched and scraped to bits.
Luckily they don't seem to have marked the paintwork.

Re: Lotus front nose badge change ?
I have a feeling the S1 is a clam off job, though I *think* I read somewhere you can do it with the clam intact if you have driving lamps - I presume the thing here is that the front grill is fixed to the clam, and you remove the driving lamp / put hand in through the hole.
Then you may want to consider putting an s2 item on (stick on) or an s1 item with the screws ground off and some sticky pads...
though obviously there are pros and cons:
Easier to nick
Easier to fit
Won't cause clam damage if someone gets over zelous with a screwdriver trying to remove it
Will just pop off
Reckon they are also cheaper...
s2 item probably weight less too
