Shouldn't this be plugged in to something?

Took trays off so I can put car on axle stand and take wheel off and fix squeaky belt.

This bit (see below) was hanging down, it really looks like it should be plugged in to something. Any ideas?

The loom in elises carries plugs for different engine configuations. Some have a oil temp sender IIRC as well as a pressure switch and that's what that plug would be for.

That plug is never connected - there are some more besides that one, in case you come across some more :-)

Thanks Robin. I have found others but they didn't look as, well, inexplicably relevant as this one.

Off to find something else to worry about...
