I dunno if things are getting better or worse the car now has 3 wheels on (it was 2 yesterday) but I have noticed that my handbrake cable has snapped on the drivers side.
is this a lotus only item ?
The next thing is the dust cover on the top slider of the rear brakes. where can I get a new one as it has split ?

Don't know if the handbrake cable is a shared item or not. The little rubber bellows comes as part of the caliper overhaul kit, don't think it is available on it's own as there is no Lotus part number for it. Might be worth giving the likes of B&C a call and asking. You can get the kit from Eliseparts or Elise shop. Each has a different kit, one of them has the sliders and one doesn't IIRC.
