Yep.. second seat was removed to ferry tyres up to Tut's.. I have to cut some harness holes into it yet before I refit it. Sector 111 gromet kit from MRSA.Mikie711 wrote:You will need both seats in for A8 IIRC

Re: Victors Mutterings part 1
Yes, the shocks will go on the day they arrive, and I will set the ride height to what I have it just now so as not to mess up the geo too much. Probably followed with a good long road run to play a bit with the damper setting to get a feel for what it does.
I have someone lined up to fit the rear links and do the final geo a week or so after that, to give the springs a chance to settle in a bit. (although that probably shouldnt be needed with the Eibach upgrade but you never know)
Tyres have to be fitted on spare wheels, (they have arrived) but the TPMS system has not been delivered yet. Still need to work out how that will be mounted and powered.
The pads will probably go on after the sticky tyres are fitted. Apparently they squeal like a stuck pig on the road and only quieten down after they warm up a bit
should not be a major concern for me then...

Mine never settled much after fitting.
The TPMS thingy has got a 7 year battery. See the features bit http://www.hofmannsofhenley.co.uk/conte ... .asp?id=34 so no need to power it. I was going to go for one but decided I've spent enough cash on the car just now.
