Not sure if its common or not but when I refill , it takes ages to come through to the Squirters?
Can I damage the pump by holding the stalk on intill water comes though ? I've been trying to work it at intervals lately as holding for any length of time just feels bad.
Common ?

Take the bottle out of the engine bay - from memory there is one pipe to disconnect (pushfit) and then it lifts off the hanger that the bottle sits on. Take out the pump (pushfit again) and have a look at the gauze filter between the bottle and where the pump sits.
On my s2exige it was full of brown sludge. Give it a clean, then blow through the hose you disconnected from the pump with the garden hose and water should shoot out the jets at the window straight away.

My skooshers are a bit rubbish too, I have considered taking the whole pump system out but i Think I need to take the front clam off as the bottle is in the front under the service panel. Has any one done this?

Just remove the service panel and the bottle (complete with pump) comes out...
