How to get the front badge on?

Post by jj » Fri Aug 19, 2005 5:30 pm

I want to re-attach my clam badge. It is the enamel one with the two prongs that gets screwed with the wee rubber things onto the clam.

Can this be done with the clam on? I had a look there and cant see any way of getting in to screw it from behind (snigger).

Any tips?

I thought S2s were stickers and S1s were screwed?

I have put it on at the moment by bending the two pins in slightly so its held in the clam by the pins and used some double sided number plate tape.

Its solid but not on properly if you know what I mean, but if its a clam off job to screw it on then screw that....

S1 = clam off job
S2 = meant to be clam on but MMC couldn't get mine off to replace it so they said it might actually be a clam off job :(
