Glue

Post by Gareth » Fri Mar 31, 2006 9:09 pm

Firstly, wheel arch trim on the front is loose and needs glued back on.
Secondly, I got a wet arse on the way home from work. There was actually a puddle under my seat. Water is getting in from the drivers side corner of the roof. The seal is split and needs stuck down but I've also noticed the rubber seal looks out of shape. What do you think (and what glue should I buy?)?

Thanks

Is that not covered under your warranty?

Mine has gone in exactly the same place from taking the soft top on/off.

I read something somewhere once pointing out that Lotus are able to develop a glue that can hold the chassis together stronger than welding but they can't develop a glue that will hold the interior together.

make a little lip on that corner with Duct tape to keep rain out meantime G - may prevent wet-arsedness until a proper fix is available.
