I picked up a modified VX220 a few weeks ago:



Only just got around to signing up! Might be keen to come along to a few meets and will hopefully be at Knockhill over the summer.

What mods have been done?

The car has Gaz coilovers (geo'd last year), TD wheels in the Lotus 16/17 configuration, Vauxhall Sport Exhaust and an aftermarket heater and roof lining. All it needs now is a supercharger.....

I was originally looking for a standard car but I would have eventually done most if these modifications myself anyway so this saves me some cash. So far I'm really impressed, much better than I had hoped day to day and in crappy weather. Only had one nice day since buying her so not pushed it too hard yet, loved having the roof off though.

I'm staying in Westhill at the moment, any other local owners around? I've seen a few S2's knocking about but not much else.

Sounds like it has had some sensible mods done. You are wise to take it easy at this time of year.

Think you post on vx220.org also? I have the red supercharger for sale. Work in Westhill during the day.
