Scottish Elises

Hi All,
I am Pex, a Belgian currently living in Oxford... (hope you don't mind? We do have good beers in Belgium and drink loads of them! ).
I have had my early S2 (and therefore lightweight! ) since 2006 and I can't see myself selling it!!
I do spend a lot of time on Seloc (far too much time, probably) and it is there that I saw Mikeyb13 mentioning a camping weekend in Scotland... Although I have been in the UK for 9 years, I haven't been there yet and such a trip is on my list of things to do this year so I joined your forum...
Unfortunately, the 19th of May is the only weekend in May I can't do (I am part of a team in endurance kart racing and we have a race on the 20th) so I guess I will come along at another occasion... I would have loved to join, though!!

Like I said, if you want to discover the best roads Scotland has to offer with a great bunch of guys that can drive the wheels off a lotus this is the place

On the other hand they might also get you blind drunk and post pics of you in your pants too

This looks like the right place for me, then! Drive hard, party hard! Remember, Belgians are party people!
I will keep my eyes open for other runs, then! (but the karting is taking one weekend a month... hopefully it won't always clash!)

And if take the motorway via Liege-Verviers-Spa, give a throttle blip when you pass Herve, that's where I am from!
And I recommend the cheese from Herve (called "fromage de Herve" lol), the smelliest cheese I know! My old man used to say that it is ready to be eaten when it walks off the table by itself... lol. Give it a try!
