Been better days to pick up an elise!

Hi,
Newbie here. Just picked up my 111R from Glasgow. Midnight Blue with black alloys + hardtop.
Great car but not been able to appreciate it yet as the drive from Glasgow to Dumfries was through real heavy rain, gale force winds and lots of lorry spray.
Felt a bit intimidating coming from a tall Honda CR-V to the low slung elise.
Looking forward for things to dry out a bit before letting rip and engaging 'second cam'!!.
Cheers,
Mike

Congratulations on your new purchase, you'll love it in the dry and hopefully enjoy learning how it works in the wet too

It will not take long Mike.
Hit a dry day, preferably with the hardtop off, find a bendy road, and discover what the Elise is all about.

Yeah, weather's sh*t. Maybe you'll be able to drive it in March or April. Enjoy anyway.
Whereabouts in Glasgow you live?

Congrats on your new car - take it easy in the wet until you get used to it, fingers crossed for some dry weather so you can get the top off and really enjoy the experience

An Elise in Dumfries is a brave choice at the moment
