edinburgh newbie

Post by undone » Wed Mar 11, 2009 11:17 pm

Hi all,

Just thought I'd stop by and say hi.

Bought an elise last weekend from Murray motors in Edinburgh and was recommended this website.

Burned through fuel like mad the past few days, I've wanted an elise since I was a teenager and I've finally managed it!

Hi :welcome

Are you flatmates with Calum, David/Woody's (he's my brother) mate? He said there'd be another Edinburgh newbie along.

Nice S. :thumbsup

yup that's me... your brother mentioned this site as well.

Loving the car so far but there's a wee bit of me that wishes I'd gone for the R....

Just out of intrest and since the wall makes a nice back drop where was that pic taken
On the R front I find in town anyway even at 30 tuts it's a car that can put a smile on your face every time

hadn't really thought much about the photo - i just wanted to get one taken so i could post it...

it's the wall of the house opposite - I live down towards leith...

The fact that there's an R will probably always bug me that I went for the less gutsy S..still if that's all that I have to regret then life is damn sweet!

Welcome.

Oh and I think it's cool that Graeme at MMC continues to connect new owners to this lowly community :thumbsup

We do tell it warts n all here, and MMC don't always come out smelling of roses, although I think they are getting better at tuning into feedback again and there are some decent after sales discounts available through efforts from Del and others IIRC.
