Hi there, tut wrote:Hi Aldo, welcome to Scottish_Elises. I don't know if a converted Elise is in your considerations, but I have two S1's with Honda engines, one N/A and one S/C.
Advice would be to start off with a standard model, but a S/C Honda engine turns it into a Porsche/Ferrari performance equivalent.

i have driven tut's S/C Honda, and it really is fast, i mean really fast! mind you im used to my standard s2, both are great fun tho, you get a real feel for driving, something that is lost on many modern faster cars, i came out of a 170bhp mini cooper S into my S2 elise and i wouldnt go back having now done a good 4 hour sesh at KH!!Aldo wrote:Hi there, tut wrote:Hi Aldo, welcome to Scottish_Elises. A Honda powered S1 must be a lot of fun and I would most definately consider one!
Are there more obscure places rather than the usual Pistonheads / Autotrader I should be looking at for the more specialist examples such as the above or race / track prepped examples?
Don't suppose you're thinking of selling off one from your fleet by any chance...........
