manky black in two days! Shame on you Ryan. There is a certain amount of Zen like contentment to be gained from a pre run wash every time. Im going to be away for three weeks on my annunal holiday from next Saturday but I kinda like the idea of a Christmas/New year run to Peebles or Traquair for a pub lunch.

Obviously insane - when you're washing it, you're not driving it - therefore wasting leisure timeGuidedog wrote:manky black in two days! Shame on you Ryan. If you had seen me washing my car you would understand I want wasting any driving time Shug. Pyjamas, toothbrush and slippers.....
Anyway, you are just looking for excuses as to why the Shugmobile is held together with mud... There is a reason why I took that pic in the dark.
Love your car Ryan.... Let me know if you are interested in a festive run.

A festive run sounds great to me, if I can manage to get my little car back on the road in time, I will keep my fingers crossed.

I was having a think about this Shug. I do like to wash my car it is true. I feel the time is well spent as she really does deserve to look her best when out on a run. You do, however, have a convincing argument to say that this is time which could be better spent actually out on a drive so in future I may well forego the second layer of wax and start her up. I would like your thoughts however on another oft occuring dilema faced by .... cough... some SE members. Could lying in a tent for a whole day nursing a hangover and struggling for half an hour to put said tent back into a bag constitute a waste of time similar to that expended in the aforementioned wash, or is this a differant matter entirely?Shug wrote:Obviously insane - when you're washing it, you're not driving it - therefore wasting leisure time You'll encounter a difference of opinions between the drivers and the polishers on here (all in good nature)
I look forward with interest to your thoughts.
best wishes.
Guidedog.
