Been looking at Exiges (S) for a few months now and am getting ever closer to buying one (hopefully within the month, just in time for summer). Read some negative feedback about MMC on here and just wondered what everyone really thought about them! They have two at the moment that i'm very interested in.

What happens if my car has probs, do i need to drive it all the way down there or can they arrange something for me? I know they are part of the same company as the Vauxhall people on the Langstracht. Does that make any difference?

There's a very nice Yellow Exige down the road from me. Drove down the road behind it a few weeks ago and couldn't take my eyes of the damn thing!!! Every time i see one, i loose all concentration on what i'm doing!!! Will this feeling go away???!!!

Anyway currently working overseas and hope to be back in the next few days and down to MMC to buy a car!

Peter
Peter. hows it going :welcome !! - Im out in Blackburn - Aberdeenshire, and Ive got an S2 Saffron Yellow Exige - was it me that you saw?! - If you want to come and have a look, or go out for a run - just give me a bell, more than happy to take you out, now that the weather is getting fine!

That will indeed be you. Saw you giving the Exige a bit of TLC this afternoon. Absolutely love the yellow ones. Next time i see you, i'll stop by! Cheers for the offer. Will have my own Exige to drive on Wednesday though. Apologies for adding another to the street. I've wanted one of these things for years and finally i'm able to have one! I'm just up from you on the other side by the way. Blue Golf and Silver Golf.

hi Peter

Perhaps the best way to get this started is to ask whether you intend to track the car much or not?

the SS pack is meant to be pretty good.

Nearly bought an Exige S myself when they launched them, so looked at them in detail.

Happy to have a chat or if you have a couple to chose from let us know and we can give you our opinions.

Personally, i'd also have a look to see if there are any 240 Cups around? They have more toys on them, a bit more poke, and are a bit rarer. A couple of the lads on here have them and I love them - thats probably what I'd go for now tbh. :thumbsup

Oops, i've posted another thread in the Gallery section http://www.scottishelises.com/phpbb/vie ... =9&t=14712. I've bought a white 07 Exige S. And yes, i've got a feeling the car is gonna get tracked at some point. But's it's still quite new to me so a little apprehensive about that at the mo!!

Hoping to get down to Knockhill soon to see some of you other guys out on the track and possibly negotiate myself a couple of pax laps!
