I don't think the roof is too bad. Once you get the hang of it, it's easy enough.

Re: Yet another Aberdeen Newbie
We used to stay in Grandholm!! We stayed in the flats that overlooked the lade. We moved about a year and a half ago. Our S1 was the titanium one that was usually parked at the lade.... I miss my bridge fob, especially in the morning when Im sitting in traffic on the parkway for what seems like hours (like I am at the moment!!

Just takes a couple of minutes with practice.
However you will become an expert cloud watcher and observer of cars wipers from the opposite direction, as it is easier in the dry than the wet.

ps nearly all of us have the nylon capes which we use when parked if there is a chance of rain. You can also drive through rain periods and stay dry on clear roads at upper legal speeds.

Yup, we stay dry if we drive at 30mph.
Re: Yet another Aberdeen Newbie
I figured that there was probably a bit of exaggeration about the S1 roofs, but it's always better to hear from those that know. Just have to wait and see if the one up in Buckie is a good one.

Mass

I don't know driving in another way which isn't risky. Each one has to improve himself. Each driver has its limit. My limit is a little bit further than other's.

Unfortunately the car in Buckie was sold before I could look at it.
On the bright side, I was down in Edinburgh at the weekend and made the fatal mistake of popping in to see Graeme at Murray Motors so I should now be picking up a 135R at the weekend.

Yeah, it's the blue one and it's in really good nick. I knew it was exactly what I was after asn soon as I drove it and it should be perfect for getting some track experience next year.
