I guess you may have gotten unlucky on the parking front Tommy. I don't think it has been an issue for another person on here. I wouldn't suggest it something to be concerned with, however obviously it was an issue for you so yes you should highlight it. If it is only a struggle for 1 in every hundred then I wouldn't consider it a problem but Craig is deadly efficient so I would imagine he will probably want to better the situation regardless. This is why the service is considered so great now. If one in a hundred isn't happy, Craig will most likely take it upon himself to fix the problem.

The paw prints is also an issue. You say each time it's been in? How many times has it been in and you have received it back dirty? When my car was in it had been valeted......twice! Never have I seen it so immaculate and shiny. I thought this was a norm with Murray's and some of the posts through here mention the valet after work being carried out.

Their location was brilliant for me. It is on the outskirts, very easy to access without encountering masses of traffic. I didn't encounter a single pothole either but that will change with weather conditions I imagine. The traffic lights are a pain but I don't think it is fair for you to report negatively about the garage for something that the council are responsible for. Any industrial estate is going to be riddled with potholes no matter where they locate to. That is a definite. However this is out of their control and not something I would expect any company to fix. It's why we pay council tax.

I don't think the road conditions should be mentioned but your other two points are perfectly fine. You seem to be the one in a hundred or so who didn't receive the same brilliant service as all others on here. Nothing is 100% efficient but Murray's will strive for it I am sure. I have full confidence in them and know I will never put the Elise to another garage and get the same results that I received. Hopefully you have more luck should you choose to use them again.

Guys,

Not to get all 'moderator' but the point of this thread is basically just feedback. Craig uses it and refers to it (and points management to it) so I don't think there's much to be gained from debating what's right or wrong about somebody's opinion. No matter who's responsible, Tommy's experience of MMC was affected by the general condition of the location and the parking arrangements. This is valuable feedback and I don't think there's much value in leaping to MMC's defence when they have asked for feedback - good and bad. If they can do something about it, as some have said, I'd imagine it will be done - if they can't, I'd imagine it'll be filed for future plans to refer to. Good feedback is great, honest negative feedback is just as valuable when running a business.

So, if we could (for once on SE) keep on topic and try to limit the thread to purely feedback and try and avoid discussions on it - I think that would help everyone :thumbsup

Another big thanks to Craig and his team from me. I had what we originally thought was a major problem with the Evora, but turned out to be pretty minor. Car was driving fantastic when I got it back, and Craig also sorted out the AA problems with the hire cars etc. So again, much appreciated!

If only all service departments were as keen to help. Its always a great experience using Murrays, compared to almost every other garage I've been to.

Also on the car park front, it was getting re-tarred when I was there last week :)

Hats off to Craig and his team at MMC again.

Exige was in getting new front tyres on, however, a problem arose with a tyre pressure sensor. Instead of contacting me and asking for my replacement, Craig got his guys to install a new system throughout saving me the hassle of getting in with spare part and allowing the car to be ready on time.

Good work guys.

Time to add my thanks to the team at MMC again.
Car was left with them one weekend for service and MOT. I didnt need the car for a week but still got a couple of updates and a call to say it was ready on the Thursday. Collected it the next weekend - cleaned all issues sorted and a clean bill of health for another year :thumbsup

 Craig has now installed a camp bed for me, and I have my own kettle. N1 is in again for the second time, and N3 also, obviously for separate work this time, but that should see them through for a while.

Needless to say the work carried out has been faultless, his clock seems to run at a different rate than mine, and if I do not get a phone call or e-mail every day I worry that he has been run over. When things look bad his response is that it is his job to put them right and it will be no problem. Also great to see that even though it is a Main Dealer his attitude is like Ricky's, lets try another another way to fix or get round the problem rather than just throwing a new part at it.

That front wishbone snapping was the best thing that has happened to me, apart from overtaking Scotty on Friday.

You need to give these older drivers extra room, Scotty, remember!

I was baiting, but that was because I did not want to get too much distance between us, and Mandy had asked if she could get some nose to tail pictures. :damnfunny

I thought he was as well.

Previously there was nothing between us on the straights at KH, but this time I would have been braking, so went past instead.

Well another big thumbs up for Craig and the team from me.

My car went in for a service, but also with a few other issues requiring diagnosing and attention. I received regular updates as to what was happening with the car, and was involved in the decisions as to what needing doing. I was kept informed of the costs, and given options as to how to proceed. I had been a bit nervous of the final bill running up, however I should not have worried. Craig very much kept me in the loop, and let me know all costs before they proceeded with the work. The final bill was a pleasant surprise, it's not often you can say that of a garage!

When I handed the car over, there were half a dozen instructions / requests that I made. All of these were followed exactly. I would struggle to find fault in their service. Top work guys! See you next service time :thumbsup

MMC team have been epic for me this month - jumped in to rescue our struck DB9, Craig actually coming in on a day off to help out and get it sorted so we could get it back on the Experience Day! :thumbsup

Also helped out in the case of the lost number plates, and getting some parts for the race car.

Much appreciate lads - and thanks to Brandon also for the hospitality, and help with sussing out a few things
