NLC: Faulty Logitech mm50 iPod speaker dock

Post by campbell » Fri Aug 31, 2007 6:06 pm

Anyone got any experience with these?

Appear to be totally dead, not sure if transformer, rechargeable battery fault (allegedly non-replaceable) or summat else. Would appreciate being able to try someone else's transformer if poss.

Think they're out of warranty, although considered contacting Logitech in any case. Unlikely to be economic to send away to them though.

Thoughts or (sensible!) advice welcome.

thanks

Campbell

you got a multimeter kicking around?? If its completely dead all the time, its unlikley to be the battery. Probably the charger or some kind of electronic failure in the unit its self

Could be as simple as a blown fuse though!

First port of call would be to see if there's any voltage coming out of the transformer...

Cheers,

Steve
