I saw bits of it and it looked like it was quite good , the acting was excellent. Had problems understanding the dodgy east coast accents though :lol: I am not big on theatre but would go and see it .

I saw it live in Aberdeen earlier in the "summer" - sportshall just like last night.

It was absolutely 'awesome' - not a word I'd use a lot to describe most things I see, but in this case very apt.

What you missed out on the tv was the noise (I nearly fell off my seat when the first sets of bombs noises went off and the effect of the jets going on overhead) and the set (the use of the pool table :thumbsup ).

One aspect that got me was the way it was respectful of the history.

Massive standing ovation - earned.

Best bit for me : when Cammy did the history of the black Watch with all the costume changes - was really well done live.

Much respect and now visit the Gordon Highlander's museum to support them
