Doubt T cut will be strong enough - Try rubbing compound (you can buy it from your local spray shop supplier) - Incidently most of these places can now make you up an spray can of paint if you give them the colour code of the car.

having some experience with bike fairings (i crash lots!) i would say that rubbing compound and a buffer attachment for your drill will be needed but yeah i would expect that damage to largely buff out.
you'll maybe notice some crazing below the top surface tho once you've got the worst of the damage fixed but this will only really be noticable if you're really looking for it!

I find that a good wash removes bird poo....

Rubbing compound is pretty coarse so be careful that you don't go through the paint.
