Post by Smclean » Mon Aug 20, 2007 9:28 pm

The foor of my boot seems to be very damp, is this because its left outside at night ? or maybe a seal problem? the lights r getting condensation in them aswell........ ?

ExigeKen's car also suffers in the same way, best wait for him to pop along.

If I remember correctly the fix for Ken was to get another seal (his was too short!) but mainly to put 5mil wire in the groove under the seal to lift it up closer to the boot lid.

Ali (now SLS), when he was at MMC, recommended this.

No doubt one of them will be along to confirm.

That's exactly what Ali recommended, and he fixed it for Ken recently with his new SLS hat on. Ken said it's stopped the leaking completely.
