Just been asked by my company to hospitality at the Goodwood Revival. :cheers Had a quick look on their website and it looks like a good day out, have seen it on TV and from what I can remember the racing was pretty good with old cars getting driven as they were designed to etc. 8) The only worry is that we are encouraged to wear "period" dress.....is a good day out gonna turn into a bad episode of Heatbeat I wonder??

Absolutely fabulous day out - will be returning this year. Masses of racing; huge grids; great close dicing; beautiful cars.

Don't need to go overboard on period look if you don't want too - blazer, sports coat, linen jacket - but need a tie if you've got access to the paddock (And quite right too :) )

Been twice.

GT40s at full chat have to be heard to believed.

Period Dress is not mandatory but you do feel left out.

Octane this month actually listed Armstrongs in the Grassmarket as one of the best places to get kit.

I will also be there. Looking forward to it - I reckon it can't be too difficult to look 'suitable' without going over the top buying heaps of clothes for it

I think it's on our calendar for next year. FoS is such a great event, the revival must be fantastic - some real racing 8)

Went last year and I'm going again this year, I didn't bother with the period dress, many do but I didn't feel left out, nothing against the dressing up idea, it's just that we're away for two weeks with the Elise so obviously not too much room.

The racing is really good, the only place you'll see cars like this really being pushed, well beyond their limits on many occassions.

I love this event.

Never been, but it was the root cause of me getting my caterham so cheap - previous owner, so I'm lead to believe, blew the engine in his cobra so flogged the cat for repair money!

or so the legend goes.....
