You have been ripped off on flea bay again. The old cardboard and cats wee specials, last about 1/2 a second before exploding violently....

My metro's brakes used to smell of wee, but that was because I had to wee on them to cool them down    the master cylinder was goosed.

Did you not have them sitting on the floor in the focus?.... I'd guess that's where any dodgy smells may come from :?

I used to have a capri with only one working brake (it varied as to which brake actually worked ;-)). Anyway, was en route to Glasgow airport one morning and the barsteward thing seized on; once I was steering at about 30 degrees to get the car straight, I decided to pull onto the hard shoulder - pissed on the brake and raced off to get my plane (the tale get's worse as the hazard warning switch failed in the on position, meaning I had to hold it closed with my knee while driving, etc.). It certainly smelled of wee after that.

Cheers,
Robin
