Big thanks to Jon for installing a CCTV system for me today; top job and although it wasnt easy as thought he didnt moan (much :D ) and made a top job of the install and it works a treat.

I know he said it wasnt a fancy system compared to his normal jobs but I am loving the switching between cameras thing and watching whats going on.

So if you need that sort of thing, Jon is your man :thumbsup

It records onto a hard disk thing and stores 9 days from the 4 cameras.

Jon will no doubt be along to amuse* you with the options in tech speak.

Its using a Dm 16 channel DVR and since JJ is only really intrested in keeping the images for a few days, I've left it recording at 12pps so no need to step up the frame rate on alarms

Yeah, that's probably what I would have recomended - as you say, no need to step up the frame rate.
