Tyre shortage - 2nd hand wanted

Post by SteveBanks » Wed Aug 01, 2007 5:33 pm

Just off the phone to Wheels around and told they are struggling to get tyres just now. They can't get AO39's anymore and all they have is:

AO48's & 888's rears

I have a like new set of 39 fronts and worn rears on the car. Does anyone have some 2nd hand (or new) tyres they would sell?

Either:

AO39 rears, 888 fronts or AO48 rears?

Steve... yes !!

I am off to Ronnie tomorrow to get T1R's put on. I'll have the LTS A048's sitting in the garage after that. Full set, will have probably 2.9mm all round.

Was going to keep them until a half decent summer arrives (next year?), but if selling I'd probably want to sell all 4 unless the price was worth selling just 2.

PM me if interested.

Andy

Ive got some some front 48s with 3-4mil on them. Your welcome to them for £50. You could run them with 888 rears. Kenny did that for a while and he said there was very little difference. Cheers Ed

Big difference when sideways at 100 tuts, apart from that, fine.
