Hi,
I know this may be the impossible task due to the Edinburgh Festival being on but does anyone know of anywhere in or near Edinburgh where I am likely to be able to book a room on Saturday 25th August please? I have tried quite a few places with no luck at all.
I am off to the rugby and want to be so drunk I can't get on the last train

oh and I may have some company

http://www.laterooms.co.uk - you have probably tried that i guess!
As for Ed's, it may not be romantic, but it does have free parking and close to town!!

Thanks guys I spent hours yesterday on laterooms and last minute to no avail however today there are places of course only very expensive hotel options. However I did find a really nice appartment for £135 for the Friday and Saturday night (Newington Apartment 183 Dalkeith Road) looks great - only downside is shared bathroom but hey at least I have somewhere now. Also an amazing price.
Ed thanks ever so much for the amazingly kind offer for staying over at your flat but I guess it may have altered other parts of my weekend

I went to the spiegel tent a few years ago and it was worth it for the comedy fontleroy banter. "My daddy owns surrey dont you know!"

Class
Other 'Fontleroy' locations :
- Last weekend at some country house nr. Peebles - "Oh darling - how was South Africa ?" "It was South America, actually"
- Last Year at Lonach Gathering (The Connelly Games)- scorching weather - all the Fontelroy brigade in their Hunter wellies
