Spoke to knockers. Its a no for using our own cars. Their liability insurance doesn't cover it. They have there own rear wheel drive cars that we can use
We could get a group discount on the normal price as the MX5 club have done similar things in the past.
Maybe book it for the afternoon or morning before a track day?

I mentioned on another thread but I think it got lost. Would it be possible to hire the Aberdeen Exhibtion Centre car park. It's huge and has nothing on it - lamp posts, bollards etc. I cant think of any larger spaces.

KH use a car on a trolley AFAIK.
The skidpan (drifting oval) at Crail is the other option. Willie used to use diesel to make it slippy. Its all done at very low speeds and you would have to be trying really hard to twang the car off the tires. The car stank afterwards but it was darn good fun. Only prob with Crail is the lack of instructor. Unless any of TSE would be willing to give vehicle dynamic lessons???

Both oil based and trolley types are good fun and get you doing the right thing. Did one at Silverstone where they laid out a course using small cones which made it a lot more fun - maybe worth asking?

We could rope in autotesting legend Dom for the vehicle dynamic lesson
