I'm so excited!

Yep, sad i know, but just ordered my forst upgrade for me bog standard elise.

I'm hardly pushing the boat out, having just spent £38 on an upgraded panel filter, but there you go - strange what a day in the office will do to people!

I'm guessing the airbox opens with a simple clip - chuck out old paper one, plop in new ITG, then close up?

Y'know, it's been so long since I've even seen my standard airbox, I can't remember!!!

Reasonably sure you're right tho - couple of clips....

Welcome to the slippery slope, BTW... This time next year it'll have a Honda in it

Another quick mod that gives a bit more noise (but not the headache an induction kit gives you) and "might" give half a bhp :D is to cut the pipe i've circled in white. Cut it at an angle, dont cut too much off, and reroute the original cold air hose to give a more direct feed to the airbox. It's another one of those mods that prob wont give you any bhp, but will go towards stopping you loosing any unnecessarily.
