My dad has a 3.0 Jag X-Type, the Sat nav module has gone on the blink along with the PSE module, this controls most of the car electrics so he wants to get it sorted. The price the dealer quoted for fixing it was, get this, over £2500.

Dont suppose anyone knows of anywhere specialising in Jags or where I could locate the parts?

Kenny,

Sorry - don't have sat nav or had this problem and only used the dealers - our Jag can't be worth a lot more than that now!

Its a hell of a lot of money to spend on the car but he doesnt have much choice as everything is controlled through the touchscreen panel.

Couldnt believe the price they quoted.

could you find the part numbers and then run them by a ford dealer? Some of the internal stuff like that must surely be shared across the platforms?

I have the part numbers, might try that.
