Mine are Mags.
Apparently they corrode. I guess they're soft.

They are not designed for the rigours of raod driving so i have heard, best to contact the manufacturers i suppose :)

thay cannot be conventionally refurbed either, lots of sparks and stuff :P

Remember that one manufacture recommending yearly scans of the wheels to check for corrosion which cant be seen by the naked eye

Just remember even the fire brigade can't put out a fire if magnesium wheels catch fire.
(Eg renault rally car a few years ago).
