He did very well . Alonso looked like a scruffy tramp in the press conference , he is not a happy bunny .

Lewis is the golden boy at the moment and can do no wrong but the Lewis only commentary from that twat James Allen spoils F1 .

Well Done to him, he pulled it out the bag just when he needed. Hopefully it will for some interesting racing. Ferrari are on a bit of a resurgence and Alonso is a little miffed about not being the big cheese.

The words 'F**k Me' were uttered in my house when he crossed the line. He just didn't look like he was going to be pole sitter at any point up until then. It's very tight at the front though. Virtually nothing between the front 2 rows...

Will be an interesting start tomorrow anyway.

I said yes and punched the air as Kimi got pole! :D

Then went oh nice one, as Hamilton got it. :)

Pleased for him, he certainly pulled that one from no where. He isnt going to win tommorow though.

I'm not a Hamilton fan. Can't be arsed with the whole media frenzy pish. They will turn on him eventually. Also can't stand that his Dad swans around the place like he owns Mclaren. Hamilton gets pole and they go straight to interview his Dad. Who give's a damn what he's got to say?

For the 1st time in years I want Ferrari to win...not just any Ferrari but Massa's one!

Would quite like to see Hamilton in the tyres tomrrow (obviously not hurt).

I did think the same as Gareth about Hamiltons Dad until I started looking at some old karting footage. His dad has done loads to get him there, so can't grudge him enjoying it also.

The whole media build up is another thing entirely though... was the same with Jenson, oh, and were England not meant to win the last world cup?

To be fair, Hamilton hasn't actually done anything to be hated by anyone and hasn't actually said he is going to win the championship or anything... the media play a big part in making people hated. For what it's worth I'm a DC fan... can't stand Kimi, I like Massa & Alonso... and am undecided about Hamilton as yet as it's too early to decide either way. Glad he is doing well though as it's really shaken things up this season. 4 good contenders for the championship which is quite likely going to run the course of the season.

Me? They may be a slick media machine, or just genuine people who have dedicated their lives and efforts to getting to where they are.

Totally agree with you there!! I think his old man has every right to be around the Mclaren pits, cant say I've seen him swan around as if he owns the place though.

His old man has put a hell of a lot of effort into where Lewis is today, the fact he had 3 jobs to fund his karting says it all to me. How many parents do you know that are willing to do that for your hobbie? I know what my old man would say!!

The media is just the typical brittish press, but at least he deserves the attention, 1st season - 8 races - 8 podiums and 2 wins at 22yrs old.

Good luck to the guy!!!
