Really like the idea of a Radical, but it would have to be an SR3. The SR4 is no doubt just about as quick, but it just looks a bit small and toy like to my eyes.
I read somewhere recently that Radical are working on a hardtop, more road usable version of the SR3 using a Honda Vtech which sounds a mouth watering prospect.

8k buys you one of these, 220bhp, 300kg -
that cost leaves you with plenty budget for your licence, a decent monkey suit, tyres and a trailer and entry fees . . . i can guarantee the buzz will make trackdays seem uninteresting
next season or the season after i'll chop the tango in for something similar . . .
canny wait

Surely the Radical would be way quicker than the Caterham?
Power is nothing without talent

Of course the radical is quicker...You've already proved that
The blackbird however is a road car that's quick enough to see off everything else and is ever so very user friendly
