Assuming I go to Castle Combe then I'll be passing twice on the weekend of the race - haven't decided exactly when yet, though, and don't tend to have a huge amount of space in the back of the bus, however, if I know it's to be collected I can probably make space.
The downside (for you) is that you need to come along to fetch it, help load it in/out of the car, ensure it's packed properly so I don't get gearbox oil in the car and be pit bitch for the weekend.
Cheers,
Robin

Or, we can just go and collect it at some point, but I'll bet petrol costs are very close to courier costs for a 4-5 day service. It's a 400 mile round trip, the bus does at best 20mpg at "all ahead standard" speed, maybe 25mpg at "all ahead crawl", so say 20g = 90l = £90 of fuel. Plus my personal expenses (packet of revels).
Cheers,
Robin

Drive down and collected it Greg
You wont need Robins 'bus' surely it'll fit in the pax footwell. And you should do over 30mpg in the Elise, so max £50 on fuel.
Green Subaru Impreza Turbo, a 'classic'.
Silver Jeep Cherokee 2.5 TD, on SORN spec...
Black Disco 3, black van man spec...

Yep, you can collect it in an elise too, but not with a codriver
I would guess it weighs in at 40-50kg.
Cheers,
Robin
