How long do you guys spend out there at a time? I only know what I have seen in James Biond & Fox's 24
Looks fairly isolated, is it weeks at a time, or do the helicopters take you home every few days?
Gary.

it depends on the job or contract tbh.
a mate of mine is 2 weeks on 3 weeks off.
i'm sure he did a 7 week to nigeria or something like that.
he said its great but not for everyone
i'm just starting so i'll take anything...well almost.

What do you guys do out there? In the films you will most likely be hiding behind a door with a gun, taking orders from a russian general - in reality, I couldn't even remotely gues...
Gary.
