Any thoughts on the below cars?
First one, S160 but slightly high miles.
http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/185014.htm

I like this one: http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/184818.htm but the guy turned down a reasonable offer.

This too: http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/163392.htm

There's CSK from here with the red Super 140 but he's on holiday for a couple more weeks and my Dad...like me...is impatient.

I guess he's looking for a nice S1 with slightly more poke than the standard 120bhp. Mainly used for tracking as he will be running around in the 645i

Cheers
G

got to be the first one. your dads gonna track it so hell prob be looking for more power pretty soon with a 120bhp s1, as for the 111s, I just dont like the colour. Cheers Craig.
PS: This one was done in a hurry to prevent afore mentioned pics!

Just reread the second one so you can disregard the comment about the 120bhp. Im now stuck between the 1st and last, was the s1 sprint a limited edition?

purple one for me from that selection

PTP car is iffy colour scheme, tho' OK if its just for the track

I do prefer however the 16K ml Azure blue sport 160 on PH, solid money I suppose at 12750 but you get what you pay for.

Thanks guys.
I quite like the purple.
Old boy likes the power scheme on the 'Sprint'.
Paul, well spotted on the S160 suspension. Does seem to be sitting a little high.

If "reasonable offer" runs in the family I don't blame him

Option 1 looks best value for money.

Option 3 though - raced against one at the weekend - and they are pretty sweet. It will be quick out of the box without having to spend much on it.

Steve W had bought one at the start of the week and had it prep'ed for Tom to race by the Friday. Paint job looks good in the flesh.

If you look closely at my race 2 video you'll see me pass it on lap 2 , when i finsh the editing.

Option 2 for a strong resale, if your old man is anything like you and needs to shift it in a few months!!!

I agree with Scotty, you probably offered him 9.5k straight off, i am sure he would take 10k - £10,350

Dave

He quite likes the Sprint.
Any idea why it's not sold?

I am so tempted to ask your dad to make me an offer for my S1 135 Sport, but I am frightened that I might accept and go and so something silly like buying an S2 Exige
