Brands Hatch Qualifying update ...

Post by robin » Sat Jun 09, 2007 9:08 am

A bit of a hectic day yesterday, what with beer to drink and cars to mend :-)

Anyway, Neil ended up 11th, 5th in class and Andy somewhere at the back, but 7th in class. They're not too far off the pace - Andy's never driven here and Neil is on old tyres and has yet another wheel bearing failure - new(er) tyres and new wheel bearing on this morning should hopefully make the car a bit more predictable. Looks good for a close race, with a couple of seconds from the top of class C to the middle of class B.

Both races this weekend are scratch races, so two chances at getting on the podium for all of them :-)

Cheers,
Robin

Russ qualified well but unfortunately the belt popped on the s/c again and cut through the loom. Hopefully the car will be ready for use tomorrow.

Cheers,
Robin
