S2 Hurricane...pain in the archie to fit

Post by Gareth » Wed Dec 14, 2005 8:51 pm

Trying to fit the hurricane. Total nightmare.
I have to screw the airscoop to the inside of the arch, right next to the side grill. I can't fuc*ing do it and I feel like stabbing someone with a spoon!

Do you mean fixng the flexi to the side air duct, try pushing it over the lip of the scoop and tie wrapping it mate

With a thread title like that I thought you must have wrapped your car round a lamp post.

Time for a few deep breaths...!

It makes a sort of BRRRRRRRRR sound on pickup...then change gear and the car seems to pop a bit more. WICKED!

Strange, I never heard the hurricane on the S1 make this BRRR noise.
