spookily similar to the incident i had at spa, thankfully i kept it out the wall. Those kerbs are VERY slippy in the wet, i drove over them straight and still managed to spin

Does it matter what way you drive over wet kerbs?
I would have though it was the difference in grip that caused the issue rather than direction of car.

Looks like he ran out of talent. It is one thing to go in too quick and run out of grip, and go off on the outside, but going off on the inside is poor show...IMHO. If the car is capable of going round a tighter arc than it should, then surely any half decent driver would catch it and keep in on the black stuff?
Lack of talent, and with that paint job on an S2; lack of taste too...IMHO

I can see what you saying about talent, but that corner is 100 mph and wet kerbs, no run off, etc.
Uldis
not sure if it was lift off has he was too far past the apex ?

Nobody can be sure, but I was thinking of a badly managed acceleration drift, tail started coming out and THEN lifting off...

Fair point about speed, but surely in the wet everything happens more predicably? S'pose running over a wet kerb could be like hitting ice.
I still think a good (or well trained) driver would have saved it (prob not including myself in that category)

Depends on he kerbs though - if newly painted and wet it can be almost the same as hitting ice.
