I have already ask some of you guys about this......
My 111S is about to get punted (Graeme at MMC's fault.......he gave me a shot of an Exige S.........which is truely mental fast) as it now feels sluggish (compared to the Exige S)!
The exige S is not an option for a variety of reasons.
So the question is - 111R or exige?
Both have the same performance but I believe the handling is very different?
I like the look of the exige but don't know if the inability to go roofless will be missed?
Opinions please guys.........

For me it was easy.
Roof Off = Best Option = 111R
But, I saw the pics of the S2 exige with the soft top and that seems a good option too.

Exige handles better than the 111R.
Exige looks better FACT!
You can remove the Exige roof. Ed and others have done it.
My Exige would look like this:

Gareth, just spied your car on pistonheads too!
So everyone's saying that the exige is the one to have.........
I can't actually believe that for once everyone is in agreement!

My slightly tweeked

K powered S2 was able to keep up/ahead* of the S2 exiges round Kh.
Does it look better? Less of a fact more of an opinion IMHO - I'm not a huge fan of the minor alterations required to make the yota engine work, and I'm not won over by the gaping smile or the sidepods in the exige. Still not enought to stop me from buying one should my numbers come up in tonight's draw!

having the ability to take the roof off was never a tick box for me so exige was a clear choice .... but was an extra few months of waiting. Depends what you want i guess. The performance off 111R and Exige is probably very very close ... exige may have a wee edge on track i guess. Im sure an expert will correct me in a moment
All the best
