Post by CSK_423 » Mon May 07, 2007 10:31 pm

My insurance is up on the audi this week after a renewal quote of £720  and and an excess of £350 I told tesco where to go I did get them down to £650 but I have had the following quotes...

esure £460
sainsburys bank £473
halifax car insurance £503
sheilas wheels (stop laughing !) £526

all are £250xs and include legal protection

anybody had any dealings with the following ???? (My oldman was with esure for a year and didn't relaise they had certain t&c's such as unable to drive another car 3rd party)

oh and Dial direct dunno who they are quoted me £1945.17

Was with Halifax when I had the Civic. Only problem I had with them was that they wouldn't insure the Elise and so I had to lose a year's no claims bonus because I had to cancel the Halifax policy with only 2 months left on it.

Halifax are under-written by Esure, so you might as well go with Esure if they're offering you the best deal (and if you ain't fussed about the 3rd party thing).

These are all part of the HBOS group and am fairly certain that Sainsbury will be run/underwritten by HBOS also.
