Ideal spec., would be 'much' faster than your Elise.
I would buy one if I had:
a) a garage
b) a towcar

Gareth, i was working Edin today and nipped by MMC to have a squint in the window. Your S1 is in the showroon lookin well clean. Doesn't quite look right without the stripes tho

. And £13k!!!!!!

Thats a bit steep.
Seen the mint red S1 that's never been used and been kept in a heated garage all its days. Looks unbeleivably clean, totaly perfect example. I'm not sure my car looked that clean even straight from the factory

That one's been in & out of Caterham Car's showroom a few times now
This is the same spec as thinfourth's to give an indication of lap times
The driver's seat is one of those foam jobs (just visible in the pic)
HTH
PS Ali - no need for a trailer

Only thing I'll say G, is that if the S1 was a bit rough and ready for you, then forget a Cat. Plus if you keep your aversion to trackwork on anything but a perfect day, you won't get much use out of it...

Thinfourth is no indication of laptimes...(donut miester).
Maybe don't need a trailer but I think I'd need something else for the everyday commute. Also helps for the extra tyres...
Cheers,
Ali

I resent that remark about laptimes
i know i can go round and round in circles faster then most people
And if gareth is looking for a winter car while he owns a S2 then he is nowhere near enough loony enough to own a 7

I'd back him up on the loony comment, I've been on a run with you

At least thinfourth's car has a windscreen!
