My car is in Falkland Performance due to emissions failure. They suspect the cat !!!!!!! has anyone got one that i could borrow for the MOT retest ?? Or just to be sure it is the cat, before i go and spend my hard earned money on a new one? :(

I'll be asking the same question soon. A year ago there was a kind of communal cat going around. Is it still available for MOT duties?

I borrowed Dave Stanleys CAT for my exige MOT at Falkland. They fitted it for the test and took it off again for me afterwards. Very Helpfull :)

Wow - who owned it before? That seems like an odd approach compared to fitting a 30 quid cat replacement pipe!

If you do decide to buy one, get a sports cat from eliseparts or PTP (or wherever else you can find one). Same price, makes a better noise, still works as a cat.

Cheers,

Think I have 2 kicking about. 1 was a NE mot mule ( at ricky's ?) and i have one here.

It will be off the 340r and will have less then 10,000k on it. But could be less then 1k. Can't remember if the previous owner had it on full time or just for MOT's ? It looks new'ish?

I can send it down to Falkland for you.

£40 inc next dey delivery to Falkland.

I have no need for it now. :o)

Cool, that's 1 less thing I will have to sell on e-bay.

I am going to have to clear out the corner of the warehouse soon.
