I have to say I did enjoy the strong smell of petrol, maybe it was the hangover which lasted most of the morning, but not once did i think it could go BANG!

I retired in race 1 with a split fuel filter. The Hurricane piping had frayed and worked it way to create a small hole in the fuel filter. Some nice flames out the back. Had to use the f/x and so did the marshalls. I did smell fuel for about 1/2 a lap, but carried on as its racing after all :)

Managed to get a spare filter off Randy (via Geary at Eliseparts) and Ben Pitch did a superb job in getting me back out. I finished the 2nd race in 14th, 6th in class :)

Small difference between a fractured fuel filter pishing it into the engine bay and a gasket leaking vapour into the cabin ;)

Would be fixed by now if it wasn't for MMC ordering mupperty.
