can't say I had even considered this before, but whilst sitting at traffic lights earlier tonight I thought that I should really take my roof off
so I did, whilst still sitting in the drivers seat waiting for the lights to change
received a few funny looks from the traffic around me though
so, can you do that in an S1?

Have thought about this a couple of times before . . . Wasn't sure if I'd have enough time, but just goes to show it can be done! Good work!

Respect to you for recognising the error of your ways ang getting it off at the earliest oppertunity..
I wont be getting it off for a while, my pipe has a big rusty crack in it so I wont be taking it out for while until I get a new shiny pipe..... i.e. exhaust...

Done it once in the S2 when it went from stormy to sunny in 5 mins.
S1 - don't even take the roof with me.
some one was letting down the S1 team on the bypass this morning though....looked like a black S1 160 or 111s heading west bright sunshine, and a roof to hide the drivers shame!
