just got me one of them exige type things ....

Post by scott_e » Wed Apr 11, 2007 5:02 pm

at last ! went for a test drive last Wednesday, picked her up today :D

the drive back from Edinburgh was great but didn’t realise how many bumps the forth road bridge had until today

A big big thanks to Graeme at MMC for putting together a deal for me. I have been annoying him for 2 years waiting for the right car at the right price. Its really been worth the wait.

And thanks to scottishelises for answering all my questions too ... although now i have more :D

Mmc mentioned:

1. check and top up with mobile 1 oil every 1000 miles .... i cant remember the product version ?

2. add water if it drops below tank line.

3. anything else i need to remember on a weekly basis ?

4. what tyre pressure front/rears ?

a happy
scott

ps Jim renumure - its saffron yellow btw ... you were right, its a fantastic color :D

1. Check and top up with Mobile 1 or any other fully synthetic.
2. Do not top up above the minimum line.
3. Yep, drive it as often as you can.
4. From memory 24 and 26 for the road, or the equivalent in those silly bar figures.

ps Jim was nearly correct, Azure Blue is best, Yellow next best...........

:!: FFS

Number one is find out where the fecking water has gone! It should not use any. Make sure it is at the min line when cold (Top it up initially if you need to) and then see where it settles to. If it moves significantly down then find out why.
