Mid Life Crisis

Post by mrbennybennett » Tue Apr 10, 2007 10:05 am

My old man has never really been in to cars - has driven Jags for the past 15 years or so but always the sensible saloon option. He is probably just a bit old for a mid life crisis but he is retiring in the next 12 months so he gone out and bought this beast

It certainly does shift and the whine of the supercharger is so addictive - make me want to trade in the 111r for a Exige S 8)

Very nice....

Just wait till he retires, and starts going on regular hols. You'll need to look after it,... stop it going stale in the garage

Niiice. Love the new XK.

Would also love to smoke about in that old roller in the background (having painted it white and getting dressed up like the sheikh in cannonball run. "JJ we have a race to win!")

Looks like a wedding car business waiting to happen.

Was Rich not complaining that he was at a loose end between shifts at the call centre?

So, a man who's never really been in to cars is not content with an XK.. he gets the R... very nice.

Has he got a few European jonts lined up for retirement by any chance?

Nice Jag, but I would have thought that was a pretty sensible car for a mid life crisis.............

Now I wonder what I should buy for a mid life ++ crisis.........
