TSE Autotest car??
TSE Autotest car??
I have been offered a car that may be quite good for TSE to use as an autotest car:
Pug 106 XSi 1.6, 1995 (M reg) metallic blue, 12 mnths MOT, some tax (can't remember how much) £600.
Would be good as a group buy? If pushed, I could provide somewhere to store it. It could be driven to & from events, so no need for trailer or tow car. Insurance with CCI (Competition car insurance) would likely be in the region of circa £200, per annum. Would also be handy as a 'spare' TSE car, if anyone's Liz was ever off the road.
A few folk showed some interest in the idea yesterday, so really, what I need to know, is how many folk may be interested, and if they would all be happy putting their share of £s up?
The guy who is selling it will be advertising it this week.

I would definitely be interested in this as long as we got at least 6 people to chip in and I therefore didn't have to put in more than £100 (plus insurance, petrol, etc.).
I guess we could chip in a bit extra into a wee pot that can be used for maintenance and stuff if required.
Afraid I can't help out with storage though.

Just a little more and we could buy this well loved nova, then let Dom loose with a grinder and sledgehammer
, then kill it on the next autotest all recorded on video and posted on youtube

I would love to chip but I never get the time so no point but you sooo should buy the Nova - plus from a commercial point of view couldn't you break it (when you break it) and probably make your cash back on fleabay? Wheels plus buckets should get you a few quid surely???
