Do you think I'll fit a (standard S2 111R) exhaust and 2 front tyres in the passenger seat of my Elise?

Getting 2bular exhaust and AD07s fitted in Newcastle at the end of the week and I'm obviously bringing the exhaust back up. However, although I'm getting all 4 tyres changed for the AD07s, the front Bridgestones are not done yet and so thought I'd bring them back up in case I ever need them in future (or in case anyone here needs a partly worn set?).

If your standard exhaust is the same as the one I took of mine then you may be surprised how big it is!

It will fit in the passenger side but definately not the boot, so I doubt you will have much room left for two tyres

Hmmmmm . . . would 2 tyres fit in on their own? If so, is anyone at Dan's sometime soon and could bring my exhaust back up for me? Would really appreciate it and would return the favour in alcoholic payments!

Probably not if you want to use things like the gear lever and the handbrake...!

If you can get the zorst inside the tyres it might just fit, but it's a real squeeze with 2 tyres alone!

Bugger. Guess I'll just need to let them bin my fronts then.

Front tyres do fit in the front seat of an S2 no bother. Rears are a squeeze but can be made to work.

Exhaust at the same time is a no-no.

Get the exhaust stored in Paul's car, then when it's ready it'll head up north under it's own steam

I'll be due a service in 2000 miles time, if the exhaust still there I can bring it back.

Dezzy, leave the tyres they're not worth the hassle. I had a pair of Bridgestones sitting about for 2 years in case anyone wanted them and I ended up chucking them in the skip.

bin em, or just try to give them to Dan.... he will probly bin them as well.

agree - i have 'spares' gathering dust that I risked lif n limb to bring back from the tyre fitters, couldn't use 2nd gear

Hopefully ill be bringing my car home soon but both tom and my helmets are in my passenger seat so not a great deal of room. I have a standard exhaust thats only covered 1500 miles which your welcome to and then you could get dan to throw yours away.

As Ed says, I also have a std exhaust here that MMC gave me - you wont be needing it for a while and when you do there will be some kicking about.
