Scottish Elises, from the initial beginning, will be 10 years old at the end of next year.

"In late 1998, a few Lotus Elise Owners communicated to each other via E-mail. By early 1999 the number of Elise owners and volume of E-mail traffic had increased to the point where a mailing list was needed."

I guess I just count the birth of SE from the first meeting in the Star n Garter, Linlithgow, April 99-ish which was very near the time Cameron told us to take all the Lotus chatter to Onelist (now Yahoogroups) as he was too busy trying to keep up with his Subaru chat!
