Looking at the specs you even have to pay more for the harnesses
Given 50-60K I think I'd be looking at a secondhand GT3, and that's from someone who loves the Exige.

Bugger that price, plonk a SC'd Honda into the current S2 and spend a few quid on upgrades and you would have a hell of a lot more car for a lot less £'s
I would have thought that would dent sales of the new Esprit

It does mention wider wheel arches on it so it must have a wider track.

Wonder why it will be electronically limited to 160mph?

I reckon it's all marketing... rather than state it will do 164mph, keep everyone guessing of what the full potential is, limit it to 160mph.

Strangely doesn't look nearly as good in the photo as it does in the concept sketches, but it is still a pretty mouth watering prospect in my book. Stupidly expensive

, but then again, compared to what? Far rather have one of these than a Noble (which by all accounts can't really hack hard track use), and to get a useable road car which would be as good on track you would need to be looking at a 911 GT3. Just a pity the Exige S2 didn't look more like this from the start, but Lotus have sold heaps more S2 Exiges than S1s, so they must have got something right
